Professional Bull Riders brought their Unleash the Beast Tour to Salt Lake City for two nights of sold out PBR performances in Delta Center.

Two bull riders went 3-for-3 in the weekend event, and both are veterans of the sport. Eduardo Aparecido was one of those bull riding veterans, and he covered bulls in every round at Salt Lake City.

Last out in the short round, Aparecido won the event with the equivalent of a walk off home run. Aparecido chose Ricky Vaughn in the draft, and Aparecido rode him for 90.25 points.

Aparecido needed some success, as he was nearing the cutline for the PBR elite series tour. The event win in Salt Lake City is retribution for Aparecido, who went 0-for-3 last weekend in Sacramento.

What a difference a weekend makes for Aparecido.

Jumping from 37th in the world standings to 18th place, Aparecido earned 127 points in the standings with the event win. Last year, Aparecido finished third in the 2024 world standings.

Aparecido also earns $44,788 in prize money over the weekend in Salt Lake City.

Along with Aparecido, the other bull rider to go 3-for-3 was seven-time PRCA World Champion Sage Steele Kimzey. He put on an exclamation point on his weekend with a 91-point ride in the short round.

Kimzey finishes second in the event standings, earning him 100 points in the world title race and $26,013.

The event in Salt Lake City consisted of two long rounds and a short go. The first round was Friday night, along with a Team Challenge competition. Saturday in SLC was the second round followed by the short go.

Brady Fielder remains atop the world standings, and he bounces back from a shutout the prior weekend. Fielder was bucked off three times in a row at the PBR event in Sacramento.

This weekend in Salt Lake City, Fielder won the first round with an 88.5-point ride on Dirty Dave. That would be the high point for his weekend in bull riding.

The round win was enough to qualify for the short round, even after Fielder was bucked off in the second round. Bucked off again in the short go, Fielder still finished in 8th place in the event standings.

John Crimber returned to bull riding competition, after he missed two weeks due to an injury. Bucking off both of the bulls he drew in the long rounds, Crimber did not make the short go. However, Crimber still remains in second place in the world standings.
